Short Positions (Stopped Out)

Wal-mart Stores Inc.

Short position for Walmart was exited as price has broken through the resistance.

The rest of the short trades are still alive (EURJPY, Indofood Agri Resources Ltd, Wing Tai, Mapletree Logistic Trust and SATs)

Recent price movement is on the upside. However, the trend is more biased to the downside. I am a patient warrior. AHO!!

The rest of the short positions (Wal-mart, Mapletree Logistic Trust, SATS and Wing Tai)  are still alive. It’s great to see the bears back again!!!

This is a treacherous week. I am thankful the forex trades are able to cover these losses with profits. Let’s see when the bull will run out of steam. As trend traders, we can only participate. In the meantime, trade carefully.

This trade was initiated using the trendline break. Let’s see how the trade will develop from here.

EURAUD and GBPAUD short trades still remain. As the market condition is still uncertain, only the Wal-mart trade was taken. If this trade can survive, then more US short trades may be initiated.

COMEX 2011 has just ended. I have just got myself a new laptop. (a.k.a money-making machine)  Currently transferring my data to my new money-making machine. 🙂

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc

This trade was stopped out due to the short squeeze. Overall it was a profitable trade initiated in July. (see post)

Singapore Exchange

This trade was also stopped out due to the short squeeze. Overall it was a profitable trade.

Sembcorp Industries Ltd

This is the 3rd trade to be stopped out due to the short squeeze. Overall it was a very profitable trade.

Had exited half of the following position

Exit Half Position (Short)

EURAUD

Taken partial profit for this forex trade.

For the rest, only GBPAUD short trade still remain.

Short-covering is the theme for this week. Except for the forex trades, the rest of the short positions were stopped out . It is nice to take some money of the table. Patiently waiting for more trading opportunities……

Sound Global was stopped out. However, it was still a profitable trade as I had exited half last week.

The rest of the trades still remain. (Long – SP Corp, Short – USDCHF, EURAUD, Singapore Exchange, Sembcorp Industries Ltd, Singapore Tech Engineering, Jacobs Engineering Group Inc and Metlife Inc)

Current situation is still bearish. I am expecting the market to stage a rebound soon.

What an eventful week ! With the over 500-pt drop from DJIA, it was bloody carnage everywhere. Some existing positions were closed and some new positions initiated. Here is the update for this week.

Stopped Out Long Position

Starhub

It was a profitable trade for Starhub overall as I had exited half position at peak before stopped out

It was a profitable trade for GBPAUD overall as I had exited half position last week

EURAUD

This short trade was entered earlier this week. However, the trade reversed and it was stopped out.

This short postion was initiated using the trendline break. Had exited half during the gap down.

Sembcorp Industries Ltd

This short postion was also initiated using the trendline break. Had also exited half during the gap down.

Also initiated short position using trend break

For the rest, SP Corp long position is still open. The USDCHF, Jacobs Engineering Group Inc and Metlife Inc short position are stilling running. Seems like the bears are in control at this moment.
